Our Portrait Studio is located between Bournemouth and Poole and has been designed to feel calm, spacious and welcoming from the moment you arrive. With elegant client lounges, professional lighting, a five metre infinity wall and a curated selection of timeless and coloured backdrops, the space gives families the freedom to relax before the session begins.
Children can settle into the environment, parents can enjoy the moment and we can create portraits with the consistency, privacy and polish that only a purpose built studio can offer.
You do not need to know how to pose. We will gently guide you throughout, creating a mixture of natural interaction, classic family portraits and quieter moments that feel personal to you.
The most meaningful images often happen between the planned shots. A laugh, a cuddle, a hand held tightly. Our approach gives those moments space to happen naturally.
Your family portrait session at Ludere Studio is £195 and includes your time in our purpose built Portrait Studio, careful guidance throughout your session and your private Viewing and Ordering Appointment.
Around one to two weeks after your session, you will return to Ludere Studio to see your finished portraits for the first time. From there, you can choose how you would like to enjoy your photographs, whether through handcrafted wall art, beautifully bound albums, fine art prints or digital image collections. Products and digital image collections are purchased separately, with collections available from £495.

Yes. Dogs are very welcome at Ludere Studio and many families choose to include them in their portraits. Our studio is spacious and secure, giving pets time to settle before the session begins.
We recommend clothing that complements one another rather than matching exactly. Neutral, earthy and timeless tones tend to photograph beautifully, while avoiding busy patterns and large logos keeps the focus on your family. We can offer styling guidance before your session.
Most family portrait sessions last between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of your family and the pace of the session. We allow enough time for everyone to settle in so the experience never feels rushed.
