Content and Event Guidelines
At Ludere Studio, we offer over 3,000 sq ft of refined, professional and beautifully designed space for photography, videography, brand activations and private events. Based in Bearwood, Dorset, our studios are regularly chosen by creatives, agencies and individuals looking for a high-end photography studio for hire in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
Whether you are booking a commercial shoot, family session or planning a content-driven event, the information below outlines how to make the most of your time with us.
Our Studio Spaces
We are conveniently located between Bournemouth, Poole and Wimborne, with fast access to the South Coast and excellent transport links to Southampton and beyond.
We offer two purpose-built spaces for hire:
- The Portrait and Lifestyle Studio – perfect for family portraits, baby photography, editorial work and small brand shoots
- The Automotive and Commercial Studio – featuring a 9m wide infinity cove and extensive lighting, ideal for large-scale content production and vehicle photography
Both studios may be hired separately or together for full exclusivity.
Studio Access and Parking
Parking is available directly outside each studio, with step-free access into both spaces. For larger projects, our Commercial and Automotive Studio also features roller shutter access, ideal for vehicles, set builds and large equipment deliveries.
What’s Included with Studio Hire
We include a full range of in-house lighting and grip equipment, ensuring your shoot runs as smoothly as possible. This includes:
- A suspended continuous lightbox above the 9m cove in our Automotive Studio
- Nanlite continuous lights, ideal for video production and interviews
- Elinchrom flash heads with diffusers and softboxes
- C-stands, boom arms and general support kit
If you require technical assistance or additional kit recommendations, we are happy to advise ahead of your session.
General Usage
- All sessions must be pre-booked and approved. A member of our team will be present unless otherwise arranged.
- Please arrive and depart within your scheduled time. Additional time may be possible by prior agreement.
- We ask that the space is left as it was found. A cleaning fee of £145 will apply to any booking requiring additional resetting or waste removal.
Set-Up and Styling
- If you plan to use heavy props, confetti, glitter, smoke machines or anything likely to mark the space, please speak with us beforehand.
- Nothing may be affixed to walls or ceilings without written approval.
- Footwear is not permitted on the infinity coves, coloured backdrop rolls or designated flooring where noted.
External Suppliers and Catering
External suppliers are welcome at Ludere Studio. If you plan to bring caterers or serve alcohol during your booking, please let us know in advance so we can ensure everything is properly coordinated.
While we do not hold an alcohol licence, private use may be permitted by prior agreement and may require the client to obtain relevant permissions.
Filming and Content Creation
- Behind-the-scenes content is welcomed, provided it does not interfere with other bookings or compromise the space.
- If you are working on a confidential campaign, unreleased product or NDA-covered content, please notify us so we can agree usage terms in writing.
- By default, all content created by our in-house team remains under our copyright unless agreed otherwise.
Connectivity
High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the studio. If your booking includes live streaming or large-scale data transfer, please let us know in advance so we can make sure everything is in place for a smooth setup.
Conduct and Consideration
Our studios are shared by a wide range of clients and are designed to be enjoyed by all. We ask that all visitors are considerate with noise levels and behave respectfully throughout their time on site.
Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated, and any disruption or damage may result in immediate termination of the session.
This helps us maintain the welcoming, professional atmosphere that Ludere Studio is known for — especially during our community-facing events such as Ludere Cars & Coffee.
